Social media it seems it's full now of schemes to make you some extra money but in reality if you read the terms and conditions carefully (whoever's does?) you will see that by clicking accept you are often giving the the company involved permission to take over your tax affairs with the Inland revenue. Additionally your authorising them get any rebate due and take their are quite inflated fees from the rebate.

Smart meters are being rolled out over the UK. Like most new technology they attract opposing opinions from some people, I felt it right to do some research.
